5 × 150 mm Disposable Bladeless Trocar with Stability Sleeve

Product Description

The 5 × 150 mm Disposable Bladeless Trocar with Stability Sleeve is a sterile, single-use laparoscopic access device designed to establish and maintain a safe working port during minimally invasive surgical procedures. The device consists of a trocar obturator and a cannula system that allows surgeons to introduce laparoscopic instruments into the abdominal cavity while preserving pneumoperitoneum. It functions as an access channel through the abdominal wall, enabling the insertion and removal of surgical instruments during operative procedures.

This trocar features a bladeless, atraumatic dilating tip designed to separate tissue layers instead of cutting through them. By spreading the tissue fibers during insertion, the trocar minimizes tissue trauma, reduces the likelihood of vascular injury, and contributes to improved postoperative recovery. The obturator is engineered to provide controlled penetration through the abdominal wall, facilitating safe entry into the peritoneal cavity.

The 150 mm cannula length provides extended reach compared with standard trocars, making it particularly useful for patients with thicker abdominal walls or for procedures that require deeper access to the operative field. The 5 mm diameter port accommodates standard 5 mm laparoscopic instruments such as graspers, dissectors, scissors, and electrosurgical devices commonly used in minimally invasive surgery.

An integrated seal and valve system within the trocar housing helps maintain a stable pneumoperitoneum during surgery. These seals prevent carbon dioxide leakage while allowing repeated insertion and withdrawal of instruments through the cannula. The trocar also incorporates a stability sleeve or fixation mechanism, which secures the device to the abdominal wall and reduces the risk of accidental displacement during instrument manipulation.

The device is manufactured from medical-grade polymer materials and is supplied pre-sterilized for single-patient use. Its disposable design eliminates the need for reprocessing and reduces the risk of cross-contamination between patients.
